Zusammenfassung:Processing in a high magnetic field is a promising method to control microstructures and properties of steels. Several magnetic field effects on the formation of microstructures have been found in steels. An austenite to ferrite transformation is accelerated by magnetic fields, and elongated and aligned microstructures are formed in a high magnetic field for austen- ite to ferrite transformation and reverse transformation from martensite.
