Zusammenfassung: | Determination of cadmium and lead and quality control tests were made in 138 samples of articles for baby use, including pacifiers, nursing bottles, and the like with the aim of verifying their quality. It was found that most tested articles were improper for the purposes to which they were destined. Due to lack of local regulations for this kind of article, it is suggested that a provisional standard or norm be issued on the basis of the current legislation for food packing materials. The need of their control by some qualified official agency is also emphasized. |
