Zusammenfassung: | Optically‐detected magnetic resonance spectra from ZnO grown by molecular beam epitaxy and doped with nitrogen show signals due to electrons trapped at shallow donors and holes trapped at deep centres. The hole spectra have spin‐Hamiltonian parameters that differ considerably from those obtained for holes trapped at oxygen ions. The parameters are shown to be consistent with a model in which the holes are trapped at zinc interstitial ions lying at distorted octahedral sites. (© 2004 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
