Powdering Lower Chromium Carbide and Nitride Phases
A study has been made on the powdering capacity of the lower chromium carbide and nitride, and also chromium carbonitride. The powdering ability is dependent on the electronic structure: the more covalent the metal-nonmetal bonds, the more rapidly powdering occurs.
