Zusammenfassung: | The concept that all biological phenomena can be explained through evolution, by elucidating origin, is conventional. The concept of origin inevitably leads to more ancient initial forms of life. However, in the microbial world that has existed on earth for about 4 billion years, no common predecessor has been found. Darwinian theory does not work in this world. To exist in the microbial world, one has to conform to one's habitat. As a result, microbiologists are developing a system of views on biosphere evolution in which functional interaction rather than origin is of key importance. The author believes that the world outlook of microbiologists differs from that of other biologists. |
