The shape of things to come?

The future of software engineering isn't what it used to be. The nature of the software we write, the reasons we write it and the way we write it and maintain it have changed rapidly and dramatically over the last few years. And software development is likely change even faster over the next decade. In this talk I will reflect on how commercial software has evolved and what it might look like in the not-to-distant future.
