Zusammenfassung:In recent years, indoor air pollution caused by the chemical substances such as aldehydes and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is a serious problem. Many researchers have reported the emission rates of chemical substances from building materials, however, we can't find ones on electric heating appliances that may be a strong magnitude of emissions. So, the experimental study was conducted to determine the emission rates of chemical substances from electric heating appliances using an environmental chamber where the temperature, relative humidity, air exchange as well as air velocity were controlled. We also realized the prediction method of the indoor air pollution by chemical substances from electric heating appliances. The formaldehyde emission rates on electric heating appliances were below 398(μg/m^3) and the VOC ones were ranged from 0.48 to 2576(μg/m^3) in operation.
