Zusammenfassung:Presented paper is a brief overview of current efforts in sonic boom area taking place in the Russian Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute in cooperation with the Flight Research Institute. These efforts are focused on improvement of existing methods and development of new ones, minimization technique development, study of sonic boom atmospheric effect, search of low boom aircraft configurations in different weight categories, having good aerodynamic characteristics.
