Zusammenfassung: | Aging and deterioration of existing steel structures necessitates the development of simple and efficient rehabilitation techniques. To enhance the usage life of existing steel buildings, a strengthening method with bonding continuous fiber reinforced plastic plates (FRP) and the analysis model who predicts flexural rigidity and a bending moment carrying capacity has been required. This paper reports the results of bending tests conducted on a Narrow H-shaped steel beam with slab before and after rehabilitation using CFRP plates. An analytical model that can predict the flexural rigidity of rehabilitated steel beam is also proposed. |
