Fast heavy ion collisions with C60: Collective excitation
Ionization and fragmentation of C60 in collision with 5MeV/mum O6+ ions are studied using recoil ion ToF method. Relative ionization cross sections up to C604+ are determined. The qualitative trend for different C60 charge states was compared against simple plasmon excitation model.
