Zusammenfassung: | Detailed measurements of linear heating and isothermal stress relaxation of bulk and ribbon glassy Pd40Cu30Ni10P20 below the glass transition temperature have been performed. Using the activation energy spectrum reconstructed from these measurements, the temperature dependence of the shear viscosity has been calculated. It has been found that this dependence agrees with that derived directly from the creep measurements. This provides strong support for understanding the stress relaxation as a result of the stress-oriented irreversible structural relaxation with distributed activation energies. |
