Zusammenfassung:We report the first synthesis of nanowires of bismuth doped with manganese prepared via an homogeneous non-aqueous solution reaction. By studying intermediates at different temperatures during the nanowire growth process, the evolution of the crystallization of metallic products and the mechanism of nanowire formation are investigated. In this work, a combination of TEM (transmission electron microscopy), XRD (X-ray powder diffractometry), ICP (inductivelycoupled plasma spectrometer) and SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device) magnetometry were employed to characterize the morphology, structure, composition and magnetic properties of the products.
