Several versions of the equation for the liquidus temperature exist; one is described in Equation I (see the Equations table on page 58).21 The liquidus equation is multidimensional and describes a non-linear multidimensional plane. By varying the concentration of Al^sub 2^O^sub 3^ and AlF^sub 3^ while keeping the other concentrations constant.
