Using echo pulse testing to estimate the structure of the antifriction layer of plain bearings in steam turbines

The effect of the structural state of B83 antifriction alloy on damping of ultrasonic signal is studied. An equation that uses ultrasonic signal damping for calculation of the durability of an antifriction coating is proposed.
