Zusammenfassung: | A high-flow polyamide air intake manifold has been developed for the new Peugeot Citroen gasoline engine by Mark IV, Orbey, France. The manifold utilizes Technyl Star S 218 V 35 bk31N, a 35% glass-filled, heat-stabilized, high-fluidity polyamide made by Rhodia Engineering Plastics, and will be installed initially on the new Citroen C5. The material resists both static pressure and dynamic pressure, and contributes to noise reduction. In addition, PSA Peugeot required the part to last for 240,000 km in standard conditions. |
