Human movement as a culturally shaped act

This research project intends to show that human movement is realised in accordance to the cultural context, and that individual meaning can be identified in human movement itself. The strategy of this research combines qualitative and quantitative methods to illustrate the inner and outer characteristics of each participant. The presentation will show the results of the main inquiry held in Bremen, Germany and Tokyo, Japan.
