Zusammenfassung:To investigate the potential relationship between common nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), genetic susceptibility and all-cause dementia (ACD), Alzheimer's disease (AD), and vascular dementia (VD) among individuals experiencing chronic pain. This study was based on 194,758 chronic pain participants form UK biobank with a median follow-up of 13.7 years. Participants were categorized into different NSAIDs painkiller regimen groups: No NSAIDs group, Aspirin group, Ibuprofen group, Paracetamol group, and 2-3 NSAIDs group. Cox proportional risk models were used to examine the correlation between regular NSAIDs usage and the risk of ACD, AD, and VD.
