Compared with the irregular group, the regular group showed more significant reductions in CVD risk factors, such as BMI, body fat, blood triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), and insulin levels. Moreover, participants with a BMI of ≥ 27 kg/m2 presented significantly obvious improvements in CVD risk factors, such as body weight, BMI, visceral fat weight, and blood TG, TC, LDL-C, HbA1c, and insulin levels.
