Zusammenfassung: | Utilizing suitable methods for treatment of seawater results in effective improvement in water shortage. In this research, a very small experimental electrodialysis cell has been designed and built to study the effects of different operating conditions such as flow rate, voltage and concentration, on treatment of seawater with electrodialysis have been studied. As a result, higher concentrations (30, 000 ppm), higher voltages (6 V) and lower flow rates (up to 0.3 cc/s) are recommended as operating conditions for an electrodialysis cell using platinum as electrodes and CR67, MKl l l and AR204SXR412 as ion exchange membranes. |
