Co-sponsored by and held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, the workshop drew approximately 125 members of industry and government. General Chairman was Paul L. Hazan, with Program Chairmen Robert B. McDowell and W. J. Sanda handling the sessions on I/O and peripherals, and software, respectively.
