Advanced titanium alloys and processes for minimally invasive surgery

Further examination of the influence of oxygen on the yield strength of Ti-35Nb-7Zr-5Ta is also warranted. At oxygen levels of 0.16% to ~0.38%, Ti35Nb-7Zr-5Ta has lower yield strength than all of the alloys other than grade 2 CP titanium and Ti-15Mo, a metastable beta alloy.
