Zusammenfassung:This paper presents the characterization and investigation of the optical properties on doubly-doped large PbWO(4):(Sb,Y) crystals grown by the modified Bridgman method. Based on the comparison measurement of the optical transmission spectra, X-ray excited luminescence, photoluminescence, decay time, light yield and irradiation damage for 23 mm x 23 mm x 20 mm crystal samples cut from seed end, middle part and top end of a large PbWO(4):(Sb,Y) crystal ingot, the results show that co-doping Sb and Y can significantly improve the light yield, radiation hardness and other spectroscopic properties of PbWO(4) crystal. However, the uniformity of large PbWO(4):(Sb,Y) crystal needs to be further improved based on the comparison of measurement results.
