Zusammenfassung: | The test of a small version of the high spatial resolution positron emission tomograph (HISPET) is presented. The HISPET prototype consists of two 50-cm*50-cm multiwire proportional chambers with a 2-cm-thick lead-glass drift space converter. A CAMAC acquisition system connected to a MAC II computer has been set up. Experimental data with a /sup 22/Na pointlike source have been reconstructed with a 3-D filtered backprojection algorithm. A spatial resolution better than 9 mm (full width at half maximum) and a quantitation capability at +or-10% have been measured.< > |
