Zusammenfassung: | A three-mirror Fabry-Perot etalon may be used to discriminate an optical signal modulated at a particular resonant frequency from those modulated at higher or lower frequencies. This bandpass behavior is well predicted theoretically from the structure's transfer function and physically arises from the exchange of energy between two potential wells in an action analogous to an inductance-capacitance LC circuit. This resonance behavior is tested experimentally using a visible diode laser-based tunable repetition rate optical spectroscopy apparatus.< > |
