Zusammenfassung:The influence of rare-earth elements, such as cerium, lanthanum and neodymium, on the nonmetallic inclusions and microstructure of high-chromium white cast iron has been investigated. It has been demonstrated that rare-earth elements can change the nonmetallic inclusions and micro structural characteristics of white iron containing about 15 % mass % Cr. The content of cerium, lanthanum and neodymium in highchromium white iron is 0,22 - 0,34 % mass %.
