Improvement of high temperature tensile ductility in Cubic ZrO2 through TiO2 addition
High temperature superplasticity in 8mol% Y2O3-stabilized cubic-ZrO2 (8YCZ) was enhanced by TiO2 addition. In particular, 8YCZ-15mol% TiO2 with an initial grain size of 2.5mm exhibits a significantly lower flow stress and a larger elongation to failure than 8YCZ with a grain size of 2.8 mm.
