PLL synthesizer with multi-programmable divider and multi-phase detector

In this paper, we first propose the prescaler-type PLL frequency synthesizer with multi-programmable divider and multiphase detector for the speedup of lock up time. We next propose a method for the reduction of the number of programmable dividers by introducing the (N+1/2) programmable divider.
