Zusammenfassung: | The effects of various line and lightning parameters on the severity of induced voltage by an indirect lightning stroke (e.g., stroke to a nearby ground) are discussed. The effects of the current waveshape and of the propagation velocity of the return stroke appear to be significant. The induced voltage is characterized by a high rate of change with time and by polarity reversal for a nearby stroke to ground. It is noted that such a characteristic may endanger the dielectric system of reactors and transformers connected to an overhead line.< > |
