Zusammenfassung: | A time-domain finite-element based algorithm is presented to evaluate the voltage and current wave propagation in lossy multiconductor lines. The integrodifferential equations take into account exactly the skin and proximity effects in the time domain. An automatic criterion for the choice of the optimal time stepping is adopted in order to reduce the computer runtime. A valuable reduction of the number of time steps is achieved with no loss of accuracy with respect to a constant discretization.< > |
