Zusammenfassung:Kobe Steel has developed a new green tire pre-heating system called GTPS. It is one of the leading forms of new tire curing processes. The GTPS process generates heat inside green tires, and pre-heats the tire before curing, which reduces the curing time and improves overall productivity. Kobe Steel has delivered several GTPS systems to its customers since 2001, and received excellent evaluations. This paper explains the development of this new technology.
