Zusammenfassung: | We describe a novel electrically tunable fiber Bragg grating filter with a chemically etched cladding and an evaporated resistive layer on one side of the fiber. Over an order of magnitude improvement in tuning efficiency is demonstrated through reduction in the cladding diameter and tuning under vacuum conditions. Wavelength tuning ranges up to 2.5 nm with efficiencies greater than 200 nm/W have been demonstrated. |
