Zusammenfassung:Serrated flow in WE54 alloy during tensile deformation is reported. The observed static strain ageing effect and negative strain rate sensitivity suggest that the serrated flow is due to interactions between dislocations and solute atoms, known as dynamic strain ageing (DSA). The tensile properties are analysed in relation to the DSA effect.
