The international seminar "Recent Advances in Metallurgy and the Technology Used to Make Steels for the Automobile Industry" was held in Moscow on February 17-18, 2004. The seminar was organized by the Central Scientific Research Institute of Metallurgy (TsNIIchermet) and the company Niobium Products GmbH (Dusseldorf, Germany) with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry, Science, and Technology. The meeting involved the participation of more than 100 scientists and engineers from metallurgical plants, auto-mobile companies, and scientific-research institutes in Russia, Ukraine, the U.S., Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, Belarus, and Kazakhstan
