Zusammenfassung: | The new method of steel heating in a ladle by an independent electric arc immersed in molten metal is reviewed. The experimentally received thermal efficiency of steel heating at density of a current 5 to 8 A/mm2 has made 70 to 79 %. The opportunity of overlapping of heating processes with sulphur removal from steel by elements, restored in a zone of an arch is shown. The reached degree of desulphuration of cast iron has compounded 15 to 30 %. The low-level degree of desulphuration is conditioned by a mallow depth of immersing of the unit in cast iron and incomplete quantity of a mixture involved in reacting of recovery. The computational degree of usage of magnesium on reacting of desulphuration makes 78-96 %, that testifies to potentially high efficient of developed process. |
