Zusammenfassung:Purpose We evaluated the clinical outcomes and costs of surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) and transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) for aortic stenosis using the Japanese Diagnosis Procedure Combination (DPC) database. Methods Using our extraction protocol, we retrospectively analyzed summary tables in the DPC database from 2016 to 2019, which were provided by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
