Zusammenfassung:A representation of anisotropic poroelasticity is derived in which the drained and undrained elastic compliance constants, as well as the permeability tensor, are expressed as functions of the fabric tensor. The fabric tensor employed is a quantitative stereological measure of the anisotropy of the structure of the pores in the porous medium. It is shown that the undrained elastic constants may be expressed as functions of the fabric tensor, the drained elastic constants, the porosity, the bulk moduli of the fluid and the matrix material.
