Zusammenfassung:The activity of Zn in low - melting Sn-Zn-Cu alloys has been determined by the method of equilibrium saturation with metal vapour at T = 873K. The total mole fraction of Zn and Cu was less than 0.25. As the method of equilibrium saturation is a comparative one it is necessary to have an appropriate reference mixture. The Sn-Zn alloy was accepted as the reference mixture. The interaction parameter epsilonCuZn was determined by the least squares method. The experimental value of epsilonCuZn was compared with the value calculated on the basis of model of relative difference of ionic volumes.
