Zusammenfassung:The corrosion behavior of oxidized steel in water with additions of inhibitors or oxygen is considered. It is shown that preliminary steel oxidation permits to decrease the concentration of inhibitors or oxygen and that the correct water chemistry mode increases the steel corrosion resistance by some times. Therefore the concentration of corrosion products in the coolant and their activation by reactor neutrons may be essentially decreased.
