Zusammenfassung:Survival analysis is a statistical method that assesses the time between an initial event (inclusion of the subject in the study) and a final event, which occurs when the subject presents a previously defined characteristic. Its objective is to estimate, taking into account the time variable, the probability of a certain event occurring. It has the particularity of accepting incomplete participation times and assuming that all the factors involved in the study are homogeneous. There are several methods to calculate the probability of survival, the most used are the Kaplan-Meier and the actuarial.
