Zusammenfassung:We read the article by Tangxing Jiang et al. entitled “Prevalence and related factors of do-not-resuscitate orders among in-hospital cardiac arrest patients” with delight.1 This manuscript was beneficial to read, and the author's insights are admirable. We concur with the summary that newly diagnosed coronary artery disease patients are less likely to have a DNR order established. To enhance the standard of palliative care, DNR orders should be developed. However, we are compelled to present additional points that will strengthen the credibility of this report and add to the existing body of knowledge.
