Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents the results of a temperature-dependent Fe-57 Mossbauer spectroscopy study of a new Y-Fe phase. Three magnetically ordered and three non-magnetic Fe sites are present in the material below 56 K. Below 50 K the temperature dependence of the hyperfine fields is dominated by spin wave excitations. As the ordering temperature is approached there is a sudden collapse of the hyperfine field. |
