Zusammenfassung:Acute aortic dissection in the paediatric population is rare but lethal. High index of suspicion, early clinical diagnosis, prompt treatment, the advantageous collaboration between the paediatric team and aortic surgeons, and familial genetic testing are paramount to achieve a good outcome.
