Zusammenfassung: | New experimental measurements of mixing enthalpy and activity of the liquid phase along with the data already taken into account in previous thermodynamic assessments have been used in a reassessment of the thermodynamic parameters of the Mg-Y system. New crystallographic data on site occupancies are taken into account for modeling of the intermetallic compounds. The calculations based on the obtained description shows good agreement with phase diagram and experimental thermodynamic values. |
