Zusammenfassung: | The effect of Nd substitution on different properties of Cu–Zn ferrite is studied. The investigated system in this work is Cu0.5Zn0.5Fe2−xNdxO4 (x = 0.0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08 and 0.1). X‐ray analysis revealed one phase and that the lattice parameter is not noticeably changed for all samples relative to the unsubstituted one (Nd = 0.0). It is found that, the sample with Nd = 0.02 improves the magnetization, the relative permeability and the initial permeability of Cu–Zn ferrite. Moreover, the increase of Nd content led the electrical resistivity to increase relative to the unsubstituted sample. (© 2003 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim) |
