Zusammenfassung:Primary NEAL and secondary NEAL occur when the tumor infiltrates the dermis and markedly reduces or eliminates the hair follicles secondary to the density of the neoplasm or neoplasm-related fibrosis [1-3]. Another patient, a 20-year-old woman, also presented with recurrent itching, dryness, thickening, and generalized brown pigmentation of her skin; she also had a similar distribution of hair loss affecting the scalp, axilla, suprapubic region, and lateral eyebrows that preceded the clinical lymphadenopathy and Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis by more than 2 years [6]. Treatment of the associated neoplasm may result in resolution of the alopecia and growth of the eyebrow hair for some of the patients with NEAL.
