Zusammenfassung:	GaN 1-D nanomaterials with different morphologies were synthesised by reacting gallium with ammonia under different fabrication conditions. FE-SEM images showed that the morphologies included smooth surface nanowires, parallel beaded nanowires (or parallel bedecked-tree-like nanowires), grass-blade-like 1-D nanomaterials and rough surface nanorods. EDX and XRD studies indicated that all the nanomaterials were wurtzite GaN. 26 refs.
