Sustainable Products/Services Indicators 2002 within Matsushita Electric Group

To attain the sustainable development, an indicator for measuring the performance toward achieving this objective is required, but no standard evaluation method has yet been established. Therefore, sustainable products/services (hereafter called SPs) and 'Green' (environmentally-conscious) products/services (hereafter called GPs) were respectively defined from a viewpoint of Triple Bottom Line. This paper describes the definitions of SP and GP, explains the 'GP indicators 2001', and reports the 'SP indicators 2002'.
