Zusammenfassung:Large-scale single crystal CdS nanorods were successfully achieved by ultrasound irradiation of Cd(EDTA) and Na 2S 2O 3 in deionized water solution. The obtained CdS nanorods have been characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), selected area electronic diffraction (SAED) and X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS), and appear to be structurally uniform with diameter of about 80 nm and length of up to 1.3 μm, and with single crystalline, where the growth mechanism has been tentatively discussed.
