Zusammenfassung: | Aging and deterioration of existing Steel Structures necessitates the development of simple and efficient rehabilitation technigues. To enhance the usage life of existing Steel buildings, a tensile force strength fending method with bonding Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) plate has been developed by authors. To enhance the Strength and plastic deformation of Steel structural member, it is required. a rehabilitation for method. Compressive force strengthening as well as for tensile force strengthening. This paper reports the results of compression tests conducted on an angle steel brace before and after rehabilitation using CFRP plates. These results show enhanced axial rigidity, axial force carrying capacity and plastic deformation capacity and plastic deformation capacity of the brace due to bonding CFRP plate. |
