Zusammenfassung: | There is a paucity of evidence on the impact of chronic heart failure (HF) on acute pulmonary embolism (PE) hospitalization outcomes. The aim of this study was to evaluate the in-hospital outcomes of patients with chronic HF and acute PE. A total of 1,391,145 hospitalizations with acute PE from the National Inpatient Sample Database from 2011 to 2019 were included. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed, adjusting for age, race, gender, and statistically significant co-morbidities between cohorts. A p value |
